Maggie Millner is a poet, teacher, and editor from rural upstate New York. Her recent poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The New Yorker, POETRY, Ploughshares, Gulf Coast, The Iowa Review, jubilat, ZYZZYVA, and The Literary Review, among other publications. She has received support from Poets & Writers, the Community of Writers, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, the Disquiet Literary Program, and the Fine Arts Work Center, as well as the Robert & Adele Schiff Award, the 10th Annual Narrative Poetry Prize, and the Third Coast Poetry Prize. Last year, she held the Stadler Fellowship at Bucknell University.
Maggie holds degrees in poetry from NYU and Brown and has taught writing in schools, prisons, and colleges, most recently Rutgers University. She currently serves as the 2020–2021 Olive B. O'Connor Fellow in Poetry at Colgate University and as a Senior Editor at The Yale Review.
